The island La Hispaniola had been struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake (12 Jan 2010 21:53:09 UTC).

Geological technical data here: US Geological Survey.

The Dominican side is okey, but Haiti, especially Port-au-Prince had been devastated. You may follow all the news sources around the Internet for details.

Now, writing this I just want to ask for your help for the people of Haiti.

One of the help-gathering center is El Centro Bono of Santo Domingo, details below:

Centro Bonó. Calle Josefa Brea No. 65, casi esquina 27 de Febrero, Mejoramiento Social. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Thanks for your help.
