A couple of days ago, some shameful incident that occurred in the Chess World Cup in Tbilisi, Georgia, drove my memory 13 years back in time to the XXXVI Chess Olympiad in Calvia, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, where the same person sadly made the same mistake just a few meters away from me.
Thinking about the Dominican Olympic Team that were there with me, made me realize how proud I am of the amazing men and women, better people, they all are today.
Looking forward to another decade of kind friendship, delicious camaraderie, merciless rivalry and nasty trash talking at the board.
God bless, guys!
